Toki Tori,
Two Tribes, 1000 points.
2-Player, Puzzle.

"Toki Tori is a great puzzle
game, and it's a HUGE upgrade from the original on the Game Boy Color.
Lots of puzzles, good use of the Wiimote, great audio, and very worth
the price if you like puzzle games."
Protöthea,
Ubisoft, 1000 points.
1-Player, Shooter.

“A very interesting control scheme, but the game falls short in every
facet of shooter games. The graphics are weak, the sound is just as
repetitive and annoying as the limited number of enemy variations, and
the boss battles are almost boring. SAVE YOUR POINTS, especially if
you are a shooter fan.”

My Pokémon Ranch, Nintendo, 1000 points.
1-Player, Umm…Ranching Sim?

“Even if you own Diamond/Pearl, this game has literally no redeeming
qualities. It's not even a game, more like a poorly animated movie
where you watch the Pokémon
you have uploaded, if you even make it that far without gouging out
your brain.”

Cocoto Fishing Master,
Neko Entertainment, 700 points.
1-Player, Fishing Sim.

“It's a fishing game with few instructions, a weak and arbitrary
story, and poor graphics and poor sound. Even if you find fishing
games fun for some reason, to the best of my knowledge, this even
falls flat in that category.”
Block Breaker Deluxe,
Gameloft, 800 points.
2-Player, Arcade Game.
"Block Breaker Deluxe = Arkanoid. You probably already know if you
like Arkanoid or Alleyway or Drew Barrymore Breakout, or whatever you
first played that got you accustomed to this type of game. This title
brings out the added sense of earning cash to buy upgrades, but the
visuals are hard on the eyes, and the game relies on steady Wiimote
pointing, so definitely don't pick this up without a steady hand.

Gyrostarr,
High Voltage Software, 700 points.
4-Player, Shooter.

“After last month's
disappointing Star Soldier R, Gyrostarr is really only a lateral move.
The graphics are gorgeous, but they do little to save the lack of
varied gameplay. Four-player co-op mode can be fun, but requires three
friends who love shooters to be in the same place at the same time, so
good luck with that. If you're holding out for the first great shooter
title on WiiWare, keep holding your breath and hope you don't pass out
and bang your head on the coffee table.”

Magnetica Twist,
Nintendo, 1000 points.
4-Player, Puzzle.

“Fans of PuzzLoop have probably already wet themselves, and if you
didn't know this is another PuzzLoop title, then you're not a PuzzLoop
fan. Among all the puzzle titles currently bombarding WiiWare, this is
definitely in the top tier, but it's marred by some controller issues.
It's a fun game, but you're likely to snap your arm off playing this
game too intensely, because rotating the marble launcher in the center
requires a 360 tilt of the Wiimote. It's kind of saved because you can
play with the Wiimote sideways; however, this is still imperfect.”
