Change, as candy has noted, is good.

Oh, curses, I've done that one before, haven't I? Great. Just great. Now what am I gonna write about? I knew this biweekly thing was bad news...

SO! Anyway! Lot's of new stuff for you guys this issue! One you should've already noticed, if you're an alert GameCola reader: The search bar on our navbar, where we used to have links to Totally Awesome Sites. The links have since been moved to the front page, and I hope you've all clicked every single one of them, as people who haven't in the past have been doomed. Yes: doomed.

But the search bar! It ain't one of those lame Google ones—this one was expertly programmed by GameCola's own Kevin Leacock, so check it out if you're looking for a certain article, a specific review, or that one issue where we wrote about nothing but pirates.

And that's not all that's new! Thanks to a suggestion from alert GameCola reader "Frank," we've added a new rating to our review scale: Novelty. How original a game is, in comparison to other games in its genre and for the same system. For example, Katamari would get around a nine for novelty, whereas Halo, if the reviewer was in a good mood, might manage a two.

One more thing: I've put the call out for this a few times before, but what the hey, it never hurts to try try again. We, as always, are on the prowl for cool sites to trade links with, so if you've got one or you know someone who's got one, drop us a line. Our readership's a little smaller right now than I'd like (we haven't quite broken a billion yet), and I'm looking to expand it as much as possible.

One more, final thing: The "Holy Crap Please Make us a New Logo" contest is still, still, still going on! Please! You have a lot more artistic talent than me! Please make us a new logo! I'm begging you! And I'm just DYING to make someone (for free!) a new t-shirt with the new logo they've created.

It's all I've ever asked you for, except for that one paragraph I asked you to trade links with us. And maybe the several times I've asked for new writers, for people to go on our forums, and for people to send us some feedback every now and again. Really, except for that, I've never asked for a thing. So just grant me this one thing. Please.

One more, final, no this time I really mean it, thing: For those of you who don't like reading GameCola in its unsightly newsletter form, you've got another option if you've got a LiveJournal account. And it's right here. I'll be updating this baby once a day with an article from the latest issue until either I'm out of articles or yet another new issue is out.

Might be a good way to check us out without being completely overwhelmed with the sheer amount of awesome we bring you every two weeks.

Also, if I see one more person whining about how our prizes aren't cool enough, I'm going to start revoking reproduction rights.

Thank you so much, you've been a great crowd!
